A FAMILY COMMITTED AT THE HEART OF A TERROIR

A FAMILY
COMMITTED AT THE HEART
OF A TERROIR

The Place family envisions a new relationship with wine, and that is no doubt what allows us to love it differently.
We craft wines as a living art: sensitive, precise, rare. Wines of emotion, pure expressions of terroir.
Timeless
A family
Wine is breathed in, looked at, listened to, and it responds. It is shared like an emotion, a story, an impulse. That is where our promise is born: a return to essentials, to the freedom of being oneself. At Famille Place, wine reconnects — with others, and with oneself.

Wine, a living language

We move forward as a family, united by a shared passion and the desire to reinvent tomorrow. Here, tradition does not stand still: it opens up, transforms, reinvents itself.
Rooted in history, we cultivate the balance between heritage and innovation.

Wine is our field of expression and escape. Among the vines, the light and the breath of the wind, emotions are born, encounters happen, ephemeral works of art take shape.
Because here, wine is not just a product: it is a living language.

Réal d’Or, a place of expression

Our estate becomes a place of expression, culture and hospitality.
People come here to taste, but also to feel. A vibrant ecosystem where wine, art and nature converse.
Every experience is designed as an ephemeral work, a suspended moment between sky and earth, between art and terroir. Every moment here is celebrated.
Wine is not simply tasted: it is lived. More passion, more intuition, more expression.

“The Place family invents a new relationship with wine, more sensitive, more vibrant, more human.”

An ambassador

Alice Place
The family adventure began in 2012 with Domaine de l’Heure Bleue. In 2024, Alain and Brigitte Place acquired Château Réal d’Or and entrusted the keys to their daughter Alice. Supported by around ten team members, they are revealing the full potential of this exceptional setting, for unique wine tourism experiences.

From fashion to wine, a new field of expression

Coming from the world of fashion, Alice Place makes no secret of her enthusiasm at the chance to take the reins of an estate “that only asks to be elevated.” She began by rethinking the visual identity and product ranges, before turning to accommodation and events.

Estates committed to the “Notre-Dame des Anges” appellation

The Notre-Dame des Anges vineyard is the 5th terroir to be granted DGC (Dénomination Géographique Complémentaire) status within the Côtes de Provence AOC. Bordered to the south by the Massif des Maures and to the north by limestone hills, it spans 10 communes in the Var. A Mediterranean climate and diverse soils give its wines their balance.
